The P2P Community Outreach & Engagement Program is the catalytic force behind all P2P initiatives, serving as the front door, bridge, and lifeline for individuals and families across Los Angeles County. Through weekly, bi‑weekly, and monthly outreach efforts, the program provides essential resources, food security, clothing, connection, and community presence to more than 3,000 individuals annually.
This program ensures that families experiencing poverty, homelessness, food insecurity, trauma, or crisis receive immediate support, while also being connected to P2P’s deeper services: mental‑health access, youth development, and economic‑mobility programs.
Outreach & Engagement is not just a service—it is the heartbeat of P2P, the entry point that builds trust, reduces barriers, and ensures no one is left behind.

Pathway Outta
Poverty
Pathway Otta Poverty is P2P Community Development INC’s signature youth empowerment and economic‑mobility program, serving over 300 youth annually with a proven 80% program completion rate. Designed for youth ages 14–24 facing academic, economic, or social barriers, the program provides a structured, multi‑phase pathway that equips participants with the skills, support, and opportunities needed to transition from instability to long‑term success.
The program integrates education support, workforce development, financial literacy, life‑skills training, and mentorship, creating a holistic model that addresses the root causes of poverty while building confidence, competence, and purpose..

Is Now
Mental Health is N.O.W. (Navigating Our Wellness) is P2P Community Development INC’s flagship mental‑health support initiative, serving over 300 clients annually across Long Beach, Cerritos, and the greater Los Angeles County region. The program provides accessible, culturally responsive, and faith‑informed mental‑health services designed to meet individuals where they are and guide them toward emotional stability, resilience, and long‑term wellness.
Through a combination of one‑on‑one counseling, group support circles, crisis intervention, and life‑skills coaching, Mental Health is N.O.W. addresses the urgent mental‑health needs of youth, adults, and families facing stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. The program emphasizes early intervention, community connection, and holistic healing, ensuring that every participant receives compassionate support without stigma or barriers.
At its core, Mental Health is N.O.W. exists to help individuals reclaim their peace, strengthen their coping skills, and build the emotional foundation necessary to thrive in school, work, relationships, and community life.

Faith in Action Boyz2Men & Girlz2Women are P2P Community Development INC’s flagship youth‑development and mentoring programs, serving over 1,500 youth annually across Long Beach, Cerritos, and the greater Los Angeles County region. These programs provide faith‑grounded, trauma‑informed, and culturally responsive mentoring that equips youth with the emotional, social, academic, and leadership skills needed to thrive.
The programs operate year‑round and offer a structured pathway for youth ages 10–24 and older to build identity, resilience, character, and purpose through consistent mentorship, life‑skills training, and community engagement.
